The latest US Government (Bureau of Labor Statistics – BLS) states “job prospects should be good as a large number of bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks are expected to retire or transfer to other occupations”. That’s a total of nearly 600,000 job openings that you can become eligible for between now and 2016!
According to Government figures, the median salary in this field $33,800 a year.
